Default noise when backing

i've got a couple threads floating around on here about our 2004's differential noise but i'm wondering if i didn't jump to wrong conclusion . i would get a noise that was severe and it could be felt , like a ''shudder'' when first moving car in garage, forward or backward the same terrible noise and shaking . did it again yesterday moving car about 20 feet back and then turning and pulling forward about 20 feet toward street . let car set about half hour while cleaning garage floor and then got in to drive it , first thing i did was back up about ten feet and then i drove forward to the street , all this was smooth as good be . i don't understand what would make moving car while in garage so terrible and then doing basically the same motions 30 minutes later in drive was smooth . in other earlier posts i mentioned i had dealer change diff fluid and additive added . after having fluid changed with no change in symptoms i did many , many circles both forward and backward with no noticeable benefit . the initial motion in garage is HORRIBLE BEYOND BELIEF rest of the time driving is ''normal'' . all thoughts appreciated , thanks . . .peace
