hard shift

Default hard shift
My 2000 coupe has 89000 on it. Bought it with 83000 on it. It always has shifted hard from 1st to 2nd in normal driving. When you hit it hard it shifts good. Its a auto and runs great. Have no history on the car. Do C5's shift hard from 1st to 2nd or has maybe a kit been installed????????????

Mine does the same thing. I had a Transgo shift kit installed in hopes it would help the situation. No luck. The trans is living on borrowed time.
