Default Weird A/C Issue

Returning from a car show today in my 2001 Z06 my A/C was blowing cold on the drivers side, but hot on the passenger side. Everything was set as normal functions, always worked properly the way things were set.Studying the owners manual, the only info that might make sense is the Solar Load Sensor ?? I am not familiar with this item & don't even know if it could be the sensor. The manual does not indicate.."what if's"........Have never had this issue before. I would be glad for any input. Thanks, Jan

Sounds like a blend door issue. When mine did the same thing I started the car with the A/C on,then removed and reinstalled fuses 18 and 27 in the passenger footwell fuse box.All has been good for 2 or 3 years now.May not fix your issue but it is free and only takes a few minutes.

If you A/C charge is low it will cause the same symptoms.

You're right that it will cause one side being cold while the other is not, but it would be the other way around: passenger's side cold and driver's side not
