Default Radiator Suggestions

Hi All,

Long story short, have a few pinhole leaks in my radiator. In the process of getting a new one but wanted some suggestions. OEM or spend the money for a DeWitts, or does anyone have a better suggestion? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

Good advice. Current one is not OEM, unsure of the brand but it is a dual core. Seemed to work fine until it didn’t anymore. Lol

Unless you’re running big power, oem is more than fine. But if you have the bread to spend, then get dewitts.

Agreed. Stock radiator works for stock setup and street applications. No need to get creative - if it works, it works.

Bigger power or race track use, get yourself a nice upgraded unit. There are multiple. I have a dewitts rad and fan combo, I love it.

Dewitts here. It drops right in. One disadvantage to a Dewitts is its wide enough that you can't blow out the debris from the backside with a 90 degree compressed air wand. Just a tip to help you install - get some painters tape and thin cardboard. Cut the cardboard to fit the area where the fins are and then tape the card board to your new radiator. Once the radiator is in, just peel off the painters tape and you have a newly installed radiator without any bent fins. It took me at least 40 minutes to get my all of my fins straightened out before I figured out this method.

Good luck.
