You "Can".... Not sure why you'd want to. The LS2 is superior to the LS6, imho, much less the LS1. There's going to be a reluctor wheel issue, as well as a few items to do with the PCM. Guys put LS3s and LS7s in C5s, so it stands to reason you can go the other way. If you're looking to replace a blown up LS2 and you've got an LS1/6 sitting around, I'd personally find someone willing to swap an LS2 for your LS1/LS6 and just go back to that. Life is too short to do all that work to downgrade the car.
