Hello, I'm repairing a "floppy mirror" situation for my '97 right side mirror. I have the mirror assembly out and I want to remove the wires.
It looks like it would be simpler to remove the wires from the motor assembly that resides behind the mirror. I'm hesitant to open that up as I can picture hundreds of parts falling out.
I've tried searching this forum and the Inet for a diagram of this motor but can find nothing.
I'm wondering if anyone here has tried this method?
My other option is to remove the connectors and fish the longer end of the wires through the mirror mount assembly.
