Default 12 volt outlets

Good afternoon all, I have a question that I’m sure somebody has had to deal with. Neither one of the 12 volt outlets work in my 04 targa top work. I checked both circuit breakers and they are good. My question is where do I go next? Any help work be greatly appreciate.

Perhaps check and see if there is power to the connector that plugs into the outlet And moving this to C5 Tech.

the electrical connections aren't very secure and have been known to fall off.

You said CB's they are fuses in the footwell, the manual will point to the correct ones.

WHAT YEAR C5??? It does make a difference!

There are CIRCUIT BREAKERS in the passengers well fuse box. They are ONLY for the power seats and head lights

In my 02 Z here are the circuit breakers positions are #35, #36 & #54,

Everything else uses fuses.

The Cigar lighter fuse is: 7 and the center console 12 VDC outlet fuse is: 1 in the passengers foot well fuse box.

I wonder if a previous owner took the radio bezel off and never reconnected them. Pop the traction control panel off and confirm the outlet in the center console is plugged in.

I did a few mods and had to remove the console. YES, the plug connection at the back of the actual lighter plug can become disconnected easily.

Thank’s Mr Curlee and 3sACROWN for your help. I pulled the traction control and that outlet was plugged in. I’m going to pull the radio bezel and check the other connection. Again that’s for your help.
