Well its summer with that comes the need for Air Con. Oddly enough pikachu is stalling when the AC is on when coming to a stop. Usually happens when I press the clutch and when idle drops RPMs very low.
Vette is a 04 C5Z with a fully built motor. Didn't have this issue. I think it may be the tune I had done last season. Throwing the following codes:
Confirmed Trouble
P0136 02 Sensor Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2 (I dont have 02 sensors)
Pending Trouble Codes
P0136 02 Sensor Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2
Powertrain codes
P0136 Status: Current/History/Mil 02 Sensor Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2
1HVAC Control Module Codes
B0361 Status: Current/History Check report for description:
Replace Blend Door Actuator BDA w/B0441
Replace Passenger Side Air Temperature Actuator w/b0441
The only code I think would be the HVAC codes but would the sensor really cause a stall every time? Thoughts on this would be awesome.
I'm thinking tuning. Many tuners don't tune with A/C on...or don't spend a lot of time on A/C tuning, and A/C really screws up tunes. Mine did the same thing at first, and I had a tuner work on it specifically with A/C on. That helped big time...then I fine tuned it myself from there.
Mine did the same thin after my heads cam install. Tuned at the last minute before a long trip and completely forgot to do the AC "ON" idle fine tuning. My tuner knew exactly what table needed to be adjusted. It was an easy fix for him. Don't ask me what was adjusted. i just said THANK YOU!
Thanks for the assist! Looks like it was the tune. Issue now is the tuner in Michigan I went to last season put a lock on the PCM/custom OS now to start the process of pulling the PCM and mailing it.
GOOD LUCK with that! It usually needs to be an IN THE CAR ADJUSTMENT..
I doubt that a mail order adjustment will fix it correctly. Your best bet is to have him unlock it and then have someone else properly adjust it.
