window woes
Hi, Re: 99 Corvette. The passenger side window is stuck in down position. Neither switch (driver/passenger side) will activate the window. The driver's side window works fine.
Is there a part for just the passenger side or do I need a master? what's a good source? Thanks, Larry

This is a common problem that has been discussed extensively and is caused by a number of different reasons. Do a google search on "C5 stuck window" and you will get links to many of these with solutions for each. Start with the easier things you can check out.
You should try this 1st. Most likely it's just stuck and this will get it back in working order quickly. Copied from a post by LT1SPUD titled "Stuck door window - easy fix!!!!".
Tools required:
1 small pocket screwdriver
1 long necked screwdriver
1 hammer
an assistant (unless you're a three armed mutant)
1st: remove the small cover on the door just down and back of the hand grip with the small screwdriver
cover removed:
next, align long necked screwdriver under the rear hex head bolt as shown:
now, while having the assistant turn the key to the "on" position and then repeatedly pushing the window "down" button, give the big screwdriver a couple of whacks with the hammer......window should roll on down.......
that is all.......

Something else to try
Grab the plastic accordion in the drivers door jamb that houses the wiring going into the door and wiggle it around a little while trying the window switch. There is a connector near where the wires come out by the dash that sometimes develops a bad connection.
