Headlights confused - Help

Headlights confused - Help
With light switch OFF, driver side light flips up, and passenger side remains hidden. With switch ON, passenger side flips up, and driver side flips down. Thought that there was a wheel to crank the lighst into correct position. We have a lot of a lot of lightening storms in South Florida, and it wouldn't be the first time, that the electronics were affected, like the anti theft system stalling the engine. The headlight problem is a new. Tech advice will be much appreciated. GRT

The wheel is on the back of the headlight motor underneath the rubber cover. I’ve also seen that unhooking the battery for a few minutes and hooking it back up will Re set the headlights and sync them up.

Thank you for your helpful reply. In my case, the rubber cap is it supposed to serve as the wheel. However, it did not work, pulled the cap offf, and a narrow blade screwdriver did the the job. If the problem repeats, I'll disconnect the battery, to recycle the system, as suggested.. Thanks again. GRT

Good advise already posted here.
I would pull any codes and evaluate with that data. Could be something simple, like a reset, or more complicated.

Thank you for your reply, from Elvis country. Have dialed the light down manually. If it happens again, I'll disconnected the battery, to reboot the system.
