Default ZO6 T56 Swap

Can anyone tell me if it is a direct swap from a 2004 ZO6 T56 into a 1999 T56 Coupe or if there are wiring harness differences?

Thank You !

Yep BOLT right in. There will be a slight change in the transmission gearing. Especially in first gear. If the ZO6 trans has the trans oil sensor (in the FILL PLUG), do not throw it away. Its an expensive sensor.

Your car will not have the wiring for that specific sensor. Just replace the sensor with your old fill plug.

i wonder if you can run an aftermarket gauge for that sensor... I'm doing the swap right now.

Thank you everyone! It does have the sensor so I assume I leave the sensor installed without the wire harness connection plugged in and it will work? Also I bought the transmission out of a totaled 2004 ZO6 but how can I verify if it is truly a ZO6 trans? I believe it has been gone through before because of the markings on all the fasteners that indicate they have been torqued.
