Have a 20001 c5. Blinkers worked intermittently. Replaced hazard button relay. Hazards work fine. Blinkers now work fine but hyper flash. All bulbs are good and to my knowledge not led. Can’t understand why on hazard they are fine but hyper flash when using blinker. Can anyone help me out?

Defective hazard switch! Same thing happened to me; replaced it a second time, problem solved!

I’m hoping. It wasn’t bad getting it out. It took me a while to get it back in.

What about installing a hyper flash relay witch bypasses the hazard for the blinkers?

Don't know; I chose to stick with the original plan, as i have no interest in changing bulbs out LEDs'. Might work though; still have to take part of the dash apart...

A Hyperflash Harness can be installed leaving the OEM bulbs in all 4 corners.

In a C5 the turn signal and hazard functions are provided by the hazard switch, as already mentioned. If the hazard switch fails, it can be replaced it, but you can also install a Hyperflash Harness. It is easier and as an added bonus, it will allow to install LEDs in the future with no hyperflashing.

A hyperflash harness replaces the portion of the hazard switch that handles the turn signals with a flasher that's LED friendly.

EDIT: Installation is fast and simple. You just need to remove the driver's knee bolster to have better access. The connectors you need to separate from each other, in order to insert the hyperflash harness in-between, are right there by the steering column.

I understand this is an old post but perhaps someone can comment on my situation on my 01 Z06. My turn signals and hazards all work at all four corners, whether the lights are on or off they flash. The problem is they are all flashing quickly, which to me would indicate a worn flasher unit that is failing. Should a Hyperflash Harness fix the problem?
