Based on the fact that @TMODcustoms seems to be marketing his rebuilt lower boxes across C5, C6, and C7 platforms, I think there's a pretty good chance it will work. Give it a try and let us know.

Side note, a lot of the fast drag racers prefer the C6Z shifter over the MGW. MGW is great for the street where you look for reassuring shift feel, but in a racing environment you don't want to have to think about whether you're in gear or not.
