Default 1st Oil Change

I'll be doing my first oil change this weekend (2000 convertible).

I'll be using Mobil 1, but would like to know the capacity with a filter change, please.

Thanks,

Thank You very much everybody. I do all my own oil changes on my fleet of cars and motorcycles and boats, so just wanted to be sure I didn't miss anything.

Note that due the oil pan being flat it is a good idea to jack the rear of the car up to allow all of the oil to drain out.

Take a look at this Post and check the picture showing the oil pan's inside chambers and how they interconnect.

Actually, I follow the recommended procedure by jacking up both ends so that the car remains level and allow the oil to drain for approx. 7 minutes
