Security light coming on and staying on???
This is just weird! Sometimes it comes on and stays on when I start the car. Once it came on wheel driving the car and stayed on. And now it's not recognizing the key when I start it more. But all of this is intermittent. Spoke to the dealer and they mentioned about four things it could be and all I heard was they are guessing.
Anybody have this issue and not go through the guessing game to fix?

It might be the resistor built into the key not making good contact. I had a similar problem. You could try to clean the contacts on the key. The contacts wear down. You might try a second key or get a new key made. What I did was measure the resistor on my key then got a equivalent 1/4 watt resistor, unplugged the two pin connector on the ignition switch and shoved the resistor into the mating connector to the ign switch to bypass the VATS.

Might be some contaminants in the key mechanism. If not already tried, spray some electrical cleaner in the key slot. That fixed mine. Now I spray the slot 2/3 times a year.
