Oil leak

Oil leak
My c5 smokes a lot from the back of the engine on the passenger side I know I have a oil leak but anybody know what it could be

If it is only on the passenger side, I would take a look at your valve cover gasket on that side. Pretty easy fix if it is.

Could be your oil pressure sensor.

Another vote for the oil pressure sending unit. I did at one time find a "mechanic" did not tighten my oil filter properly and have done my own oils changes since that event.

Gotta get the car on a lift and take a closer look I’ll keep everyone updated but the oil pressure is pegged to the max

Then oil pressure sending unit is most likely your problem. It's at the back of the engine near the firewall.

I highly recommend a relocation kit. Though not cheap, it's much better if you have a sender fail again. (and they do fail a lot)
