HVAC issues. Not coming on with ignition
Hey guys, I've ran into a slight issue with the Hvac system on my 98 vette. It's not the normal issue with the lights being dim. It's the fact it doesnt come on at all sometimes. I do not have any codes in dic , I have found that turning the key on and off multiple times real fast it will occasionally come and stay on through the car starting. I've checked all fuses. All relays. All seem good to go. I did read on another forum that 2 ppl had the same issue and it was the ignition. Anyone else seen this issue?

My buddies 97 had that issue and it was his ignition switch. Then shortly after replacement, it stopped again. This time it was his fuse box. I ran a jumper wire from elsewhere to power it until we replaced it. He has been good ever since.

It was in fact the ignition switch. Pulled it apart and it was not making good contact on one of the points. Bent the arm a little ,put it back together and just like that no issues
