I've been chasing electrical issues. Charged the battery, load tested the battery and it tests good. Cleared the codes, drove the car about 12 miles and now have the following codes:
B0503H RH DRL Relay Circuit
B0508H LH DRL Relay Circuit
B2483H Backup Lamp Relay Circuit
B2588H Column Lock/Unlock Drive (A)
B2593H Not sure what this code is for??
I was having issues with the ignition switch. I sprayed contact cleaner in the ignition lock cylinder, moved the key in and out several times which cleared up some issues I was having with door chimes, interior lighting staying on, etc.
The ignition switch is still acting up a day after I cleaned it.
Anyone know if these codes are an indicator of an ignition switch issue?
Finally decided to replace the ignition switch. So far, it seems to have eliminated many of the issues I was chasing. After clearing all the codes and a quick test drive, I am now getting the following codes under the BO-RFA: U1096H, U1064H, and U1016H. Did a forum search and these 3 codes seem to be a known issue on the 2000 and older cars for some reason they show up but not for any reason.
