My C5 battery keeps draining and I have jumped it a couple of times, I hear a buzzing noise on the passenger side floor board. This is where I’m hearing the noise
That box there is the BCM..is that where you hear the buzzing ??...are you planning to take it to a repair shop ??...I'd recharge the battery...remove those 3 connectors...and let the car sit a few days and then plug in the connectors and see if it starts...also it is a good idea to let us know what year the car is and mods it car has...this "helps us help you"...you can post this info in your member profile...there are variances in wiring and components year to year !!
Yes that’s where I’m hearing the noise and not going to take to shop just yet want to see what I can do first, and it’s an 2000 coupe, I will recharge the battery and disconnect the wires for a few days, thank you.
I would charge the battery or take it to an auto parts store and they will charge and load test your battery, usually at no charge to you. That buzzing sound you are hearing usually happens when battery voltage drops way low, I have personally had this happen while changing the reverse lock out solenoid and left the ignition switch in the on position way to long.
