Default Anyone use these valve covers?

I like the old school look of the perimeter bolts and hiding the coils. Curious about alternator clearance? Other issues? Thanks.

You are subscribed to my build thread, so you know that I have the Holley "coil-less" valve covers. They are 1/2" taller then stock and clear the alternator, but not by much. The style you have shown look like they'd be much more then 1/2" taller then the OE covers considering they are meant to cover the coils. They're probably 1.5-2" taller. Unless there is a relief where the alternator is, I believe it'd be very close. It might be worth calling Holley and asking how much taller they are then OE so you can take some quick measurements. Passenger side will be perfectly fine. Driver side is all you should have to worry about.

If they work, they sure do look nice! I agree, I love the clean old school look.
