Hello everyone I have an 03 z06 I picked up a few months ago and I’ve been going thru it trying to fix little things here and there, so I seem to be missing this piece that holds the top of the window firmly against the weatherstripping. I’m not sure what it’s called and I was hoping someone may know the part number or a vendor that sells it? My passenger window still has this piece and seals perfectly against the weatherstrip.
I agree it is an anti blow out clip. Your window should seal just fine without it. If not you need an adjustment. The clip is for when driving at high speed (100MPH+) and the windows start to get pulled open.
