Loud noise from Air Conditioning

When I turn on my AC, I sometimes (50% of the time) get this loud noise coming from passenger side. I do have some small wires going through the footwell, but they aren't near the source of the sound. The source of the sound is a few inches above and away from the internal fuse box.

Has anyone heard of this issue or experienced it?

That would be your blower fan with the squirrel cage making the noise. You'll need a new motor and it's really easy to change.

You might need to oil the blower motor bearing. Some of the motors have a hole to shoot lube into and some you have to drill a hole then lubricate. Usually one shot a year does it.
