dash display randomly switches between displays
im looking to purchase a 98 from a guy who claims the car runs and drives perfect but it has an issue where its display randomly switches between the odomitor reading but then will flash the tire pressure and will switch to other messages on the display, the guy took it to a chevy dealership who told him its a sensor module that Chevrolet no longer makes... i mean thats no big surprise in the year 2019 lol. im thinking this may be an easy fix considering he is willing to take 5 grand for the car which besides a passanger side leak the car is in great shape. any ideas what exactly might be wrong here and how much exactly this will cost to fix? i can likely do the work myself as long as specialized software is not needed.
