Hopefully you all can answer a question for me.... i recently rebuilt my 4l60e in my 98 corvette. I had grabbed another trans from an unknown year blazer off facebook for 30 bucks that had a blown out reverse drum because i mixed up my plates and wanted a template to go off of. I also busted the manifold pressure switch on mine and used the one from the blazer's. Now I had also had PCM failure and did the upgrade to the P01 (2000 Silverado 2500) on my corvette. I drove with the operating system from the silverado, modified via HP Tuners, and it always told me the trans was 194 degrees F and overheating. I finally figured out how to swap the VINs out on the PCM and put the software for a 2000 corvette on it. So now if i put the car into drive it almost engages then feels like a neutral, have to manually pull down to 2nd to get it to drive but once it's moving it'll shift fine when pushed back in to Drive. Are there different pressure switches for different 4l60e variations? Is it the tune or the car causing these issues?! Thanks for the help!

Since posting we have an idea that it is an issue with the controller ID's under the OS. Flipping my tune from the 00 vette back to the 00 silverado verified the transmission is mechanically sound. It works fine when it identifies as a silverado i suppose. Worked a little bit more than baseline for a very limited window when vette tune is switched to being a 4l80e. "what youre saying is outlandish and crazy" is the consensus with the situation. Are you just interested in the problem or do you have a similar situation?
