tire sensor question

tire sensor question
One of my tire sensors is not working so I removed it, which is fine because I dont really care about that feature....however everytime I start my car the "service tire mon system" message comes up on the computer....Is there a way to unactivate that so the message will stop comming up?

Nope! :nonod: Not that I'm aware of. I'm sure it's possible through reprogramming, but so far nobody has come up with a simple solution.

thats nuts!!! So until I replace this sensor (and have all 4 working) I will have to see the "service tire mon sys" thing come up.........geeez, there must be a way to turn it off.....

The only way that I know that you can get rid of it is to push reset when you first start up your car. The previous owner of my car put chrome Z06 wheels on my car without swapping out the sensors. Now I have to push reset every time until I buy new tires and have them mounted on the Z06 wheels.
