Good day all! Today I have some questions that bamboozle me bc I’ve never seen anything like this in all my years of study mechanics and working on cars. But first a little back story.
a couple months ago* : I was driving down the highway doing about,eh, 75-80mph . Cars were entering the highway ,I blipped the throttle to speed up a tad bc I could get over. Well I pass the entering cars and decide to blip the throttle, nothing to harsh. And I all of a sudden ,I get no movment. Engine is still running, transmission is still engaging but no forward movement. I’m coasting by this time.t first thought was that,oh no .. the trans took a S***... turns out it didn’t. Then I thought timing ! But engine still ran until I turned it off ! Then I thought starter . But it’s perfect. Long story short ,I dismantled the engined and timing was good. Basically what id
like to ask is “ HOW THE HECK DID THIS HAPPEN “ any and all input is appreciated and welcome . Car is fully built .
