C6 leaf spring on a C5
Hello,
I wanted to confirm we can use C6 leaf springs on our C5's. Do any modifications need to be done.
Also, what are the benefits of using a C6 Z06 leaf spring compared to a C5 Z06 spring.
I am looking to replace the front spring. Any feedback is appreciated.

Keep in mind that suspension geometry/ratios must be kept relatively proportionate to spec in order to prevent understeer/oversteer concerns.
I assembled the following for my car and it handles very well for a Vert:
C6 base wheels (I am not going to disclose my tire choice as your thread will get hijacked)
C6 Z06 shocks (AC Delco)
C6 Z51 front spring
C5 Z51 rear spring
C5 Z06 front sway bar
C6 Z51 rear sway bar
Poly bushings

Get the car in the air, use a jack to life the spring up off of the control arm..PB Blast the adjuster and get a good closed end wrench-socket on it. They do get tight, but generally if you unload and lubricate them you can make it turn without damage.
