Headlight and dash board issue
I have a 2000 C5(standard) and I’m having an issue with the the head lights and dash board light. My head light are stuck in the on position and the dash board light is off. Now I can still turn the headlights off and on but the tail lights are somehow not coming on either. On top of that can’t drive at night because the dash board lights are off. I’ve notice when I turn the ignition into first position the dash board light will come on and then go off again when the car is started. Any of you guys had this crazy problem before? Obviously I could replace the whole wire harness but do you think that’s necessary? Any ideas??

Usually this type problem is caused by the turn signal "multi function switch. It controls most of the lighting n a c-5. Pretty easy replacement contact someone like "Vettennuts" who'll likely have several good used ones in stock for not a lot of money.
