Default 1999 corvette acting possessed

Last week I was driving my 99 and my passenger window rolled down at 65, didn’t touch controls. It did it 4 more times on the 30 minute ride home. I pulled the regulator fuse until I can further investigate. Today the car will not start. When I turn the key I have a relay going crazy in the floorboard, dash dims while Turing key and starter clicks repeatedly on one turn. Headlights refused to turn off when I got out and it took three tries of taking the key in and out to get them off.

I’m off tomorrow and will start digging, starting with fuses, battery connection then grounds and starter wires. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Love the car but oh so frustrated with it.

Start with ensuring your battery is good, charge it and have it load tested at an auto parts store, and yes check all power, and ground connections, check connections at starter solenoid as well. Good Luck.

Griffin, is your car garaged or sit outside?

Regardless, I would check the area around the passenger foot-well for moisture. A wet BCM can exhibit a lot of extraneous electrical symptoms, including running the battery down overnight. I would pull the cover from the passenger foot-well that covers the BCM and fuse panel even if you don't find any specific wetness to be sure the area around them is completely dry.

Good luck... GUSTO

I've seen bad batteries do really strange things. Both of those are exactly what I'd look for as well. Or maybe a short or bad main ground.

Check all of the electrical grounds for security and corrosion.

It’s parked outside. The carpet in that area is slightly damp but not wet. The car doesn’t leak in the rain but does fog up.
