ARE LS6 NEW PORT!
Here is some pics of our new LS6 port design!

We thought you all might like to see the quality workmanship of our new LS6 port design.
These heads have 2.055 intake valves & 1.57 exhaust valves and use a 8mm stem (light weight)
The heads without a stack flow the following:
LIFT INT EXH
200 138 114
300 205 157
350 234 175
400 262 194
450 284 202
500 297 210
550 314 216
600 321 220
We will be posting our 6.0L Forced Induction & LS1 head pics & results soon...

How about milling? Where are they starting out at? What cc
What is the intake port volume after porting?
Also, will ARE settup the springs to our specs, and what brand?
What diameter of spring?

how much are those heads outright with core charge and what is the wait time on those
We have LS1 heads in stock and ready to go, and for LS6 heads, you would probably be looking at a 2-3 week build time.

The intake volume on these heads that were done for a heads/cam appliction is right around 230cc. If these heads were done for a larger displacement motor with a cam over 0.600 lift, the intake volume would be increased.
ARE will setup the springs to whatever specs you want. Spring selection would depend on how you want them to be setup.. ARE currently uses Comp Cam 918 Springs in their Stage 1's and REV 1.250" Duals in their Stage 2s and Manley 1.450" Duals in their Stage 3s.

Head milling is included in the price of the heads if you decide you want it done.. On a set of LS6 heads milled .030 you would be looking around 11.25 CR. On a set of LS6 heads milled .030 you would be looking around 10.80 CR.
