Default Widebody c5z tire sizes?

Hi everyone I've been looking at forgestar f14's lately to replace my stock z06 wheels, my corvette creationz widebody rear will be here shortly. I've read through a bunch of older forum posts on the topic but tend to not find a whole lot of information on what I'm looking to understand. I would like to run a 345/xx r19 in the rear, however I do not quite understand which height I should be looking for. I would like for my traction control to still work and not show any lights on the dash. From what I understand, the height is what really matters to keep that possible. Could anybody offer me some help as to what size tire I should be looking at? These new fenders are 2" wider in the rear. I want the wheel/tire combo to be flush with the new panels. Thank you for the help in advance!

I would like to have a similarly flush look as this:

Just an fyi, I'm running 275/35r18 and 345/30r19 Invos (not the best tire). Next time around I'm going to a 325 in the back, there is a lot more tire choices in that size.

Height of rear tire should be at least 3/4 to a inch
higher than front to avoid codes
Good luck

Those rears are 18x12 with 345/35/18 tires.

Mine are 19x13 with 345/30/19, only crappy pic I have for now.

If you don't NEED a beefy tire, and want more street tire choices, go with a 325/30/19. They're also only ~0.5" taller than your OEM tire, which won't affect much. A 345/30/19 or 345/35/18 will limit your tire choices to mostly sticky, non-rain friendly tires AND they are about 1" taller than your OEM size, which will have a small effect on gearing and fitment. After taking it about 3/4" lower than in this picture, I'm getting a little rub on my passenger side with the tire stuffed into the well coming out of some driveways. I haven't pulled it yet to see if it's the front of the liner (which it should be) or the tub side of the liner (which would be an offset issue). If you're just trying to fill the fender extension, properly spec'd wheels or spacers will do the job without adding unnecessary weight or grip of a significantly larger tire. A 345 will leave you with a lot less room for error when it come to offset/fitment. Really depends on what kind of power you have and what your actual goal is

I have f14’s 19x12 24mm offset. Tires are sport cup 2’s 345x30x19. Tires stick out a hair..you wouldn’t notice if you weren’t looking for it...

Wow looks awesome in your picture, sorry for sounding like such a newbie however if I get 325/30r19's will they still stay flush with the fender? I definitely don't need 345's I just thought that was the width needed for the flush look. I have a stock z06 that I would like to eventually cam. The only other thing I still don't quite understand would be what size width wheel and offset I would need to achieve that. I'd like to run a 19 in the rear along with 18 in the front!

If all you're looking for is flush, you can make a 215 tire flush to the fender with a proper spec'd wheel or spacers. You can throw a pair of spacers on your OEM Z06 wheels to make them flush and have enough tire, just really depends on what you want.

The correct offset will depend on the wheel width. If you really want 19s, a properly spec'd 19x12 in the rear will give you plenty of tire options and fit comfortably. There's a C5 widebody thread around here with lots of good info. Or companies like Forgestar or CCW are popular custom wheel companies that know exactly what you'll need. Someone may or may not chime in with info for you, I'd personally recommend searching for the C5 widebody thread and/or do some Googling. There's a LOT of info available
