Mobil Synthetic Lubricant

I plan on using Mobil 75W-90 Synthetic gear Lubricant LS
To change my differential lube. This product already contains
the friction modifier. Do I need to add any additional modifier?

I would only use 88862624. Gm recommended. 1.8 quarts.

You don’t need to add any extra

You do not need to add any modifier. Many of us run this lubricant, and the modifier is already added by Mobile1.

If it already contains modifier, usually you don't need more. If you hear issues after replacing the fluid, then add some more and see if it goes away.

I saw an ad for this Part number 88862624, and its stated for use in 2007 and later differentials. First I've heard of this.

As mentioned above, there's no need to add more friction modifier. This is a perfectly fine gear lubricant, used by many forum members.
