Guys, I bought and installed new Brakes and Rotors. Thanks to everyone here that hepled me. I bought from GMPatrsDirect.com, much less that my local dealer, even with my Corvette Club "Discount".
Put the rotors and pads on, took about 2 hours, real easy.
THANKS, ART Click to see the picture.

AND -- is there a way to put the picture right on this posting??
Are these the new ACDelco drilled and slotted rotors? If so, I'm seriously considering them as well. How much did you pay and please keep us posted on how you like them over time.
those would have to be the GM rotors from {Non-supporting vendor}. These are a nice looking set of rotors, but don't use them on the track. As most of you know, drilled rotors crack quickly, and these are no exception. I had one crack after ONE session on track.
David, with all due respect, and I consider you one of our best contributors...
These are advertised and available from one of our premiere supporting vendors, Ken Fichtner. I cannot attest to the quality as you can, but I can certainly attest to Ken and Bob's ability to deliver them at a great price.
Was your statement on cracking made as a general one, or was it specific to the AC Delco (GM) rotors?
I just got a set of slotted and drilled rotors from NAPA. They are made by Raybestos. Look just like the AC-Delco.Even the label for left and right looks the same. Had them Zinc washed. I got about $450 total in them. Another option for those looking to replace rotors. These are made in Canada.
Yes, These are the GM rotors. I paid $95.39+$10 shipping each, from {Non-supporting vendor}.com. Bought fronts only.
My local Chevy dealer wanted $190 each (less my 10%).
THANKS for the pic info RPOZ4Z

Art,
You need to see if the local Chevy dealer will increase their club discount. Our local dealers give us 25% or some amount over cost if 25% will take the part below their cost. Maybe you could have gotten them for the same price at the dealership if you had taken the other quote into them. I have done that several times where 25% did not get enough off the price. Right now I get my rotors from my local dealer since he can deliver them to me for the same price (tax included) as I can buy out of town (shipping included).
