Default Raised front height

When i purchaed this vette little over 2 years ago looks like front was lowerd to very bottom on factory height bolt. My front bumper lower deflector been scraping bad every time i pulled into my drive way. And any other drive way with a dip. I measured the fromt height from ground up to fender bottom lip through the center of the wheel(i know that's not correct way but i have no access and proper equipment to do it correct way) it measured 27 inches. Now i raised it 7/16" to 1/2" more after measuring it least 5 times. Give 1/16" variance . Now i measured the rear it measured put 28 1/2" allow 1/16" variance. So i made no adjustment to rear height. I driven little over 200 miles so the suspension a has settled and it drives straight. I don't feel any difference. My question is do i really need alignment?

You didn't drop it very much, to be sure, but a bigger question might be when the last alignment was done. Can't speak for anyone else, but at 110Kish I have no idea if my alignment has ever been checked. Car feels fine, and I don't autocross or anything, but I have hit my share of dips and potholes in the last few years.

I had alignment done roughly year ago. Since previous owner lowered the front end all the way ,i raised 3/8" in front. I just got new tire month ago so i don't want to ruin the new tires from raising the height.

Personally, I think that a 3/8" adjustment would definitely have some impact on your alignment. However, as already mentioned, you're also assuming that it was properly aligned in the first place.
