Did you have the battery tested????
Could be a bad cell.
Good luck
Well I know first battery was bad now with new battery cleaned post put new battery and starts right up I see it charging about 14.2 I shut car off went back 2 hours later and car won’t start I disconnected the battery and reconnect and car starts up but I keep hearing the horn come on like when you lock the car and I’m not touching key fab
any suggestions???
There have been some batteries which have shallow side terminal bolt holes. If you have one like that, the connection at the battery will look OK, but may not make good contact. You should not be able to move the battery cable at the terminal when the attaching bolt is tightened properly (11 foot pounds for side terminal bolts).
Check the battery negative cable ground connection. Disassemble, clean and coat with dielectric grease. Same with engine to frame ground and all others:
If your battery is good, and all power and ground connections are clean and tight, it might be your BCM. I recall somebody having to disconnect and reconnect the battery to start their car, doing that resets the BCM, the BCM does provide the ground side to the TDR which sends 12volts to the starter solenoid.
