Driver side door not unlocking

Driver side door not unlocking
Noticed last week that the drivers side door doesn't always unlock when unlocking the doors with the key fob (passenger side did unlock so I know I pushed the button), and the last 2 days it hasn't unlocked when I remove the key from the ignition (passenger side does unlock). Has anyone seen this happen?

Sometimes the problem is the door control module mounted behinde the door handle (usually just a bad relay, but the relays are soldered in so the whole thing needs to be replaced) or the lock accuator (the electro/mechanical part that physically locks/unlocks the door). It think the module is the most common cause though.

I'm with the others. I have had the module switch replaced on both of the doors in my '01 coupe. Good luck. :seeya

As has already been said, replace the door control module. Mine does the same thing, I just haven't gotten around to fixing it.

Yup, mine started last month on my '02. I haven't had time to take to the dealer since we moved. I hope to get it in before the holidays, but it may have to wait until after New Years.
