C5 automatic transmission issues
My c5 has, over the last couple weeks, not been shifting properly. When I start from a stop or even slow speeds, it revs way high and wont shift into 2nd for a while even with barely pressing the gas. And when it does finally shift, it immediately shift into 3rd. It's very consistent with that issue. Not getting any codes either.
Another similar issue is if I'm already going around 75mph and then gun it, it's used to go immediately. Now it revs and feels like it's about to catch and take off but then often times it doesnt and it just revs really high and I have to take foot off the gas. A friend of mine mentioned something about "friction material" could be wearing out?? I dont know anything about transmissions so I'm trying to find as much info as I can before I spend money on even a proper diagnostic fee. Does this sound like a simple-ish/cheap-ish issue to resolve or no?

Sounds like it could be your Throttle Position Sensor.

ok thanks for the replys, im hoping its like the first guy said and its the TPS. i was driving around today and got these 4 codes ill add with a link to the pages describing the issues. if anyone would be able to make a better educated guess and see if it sounds more like the TPS now, that would be great. thanks in advance.
