My C5 seat are wired backwards at the forward and reverse slide switch on the seat are reversed. Can the two side by side actuators under the seat be the problem being wired backwards?

I haven't had stock seats in ages so I'm not sure which motor does which function, but the two side by side motors both appear to have original wiring where that 3rd one clearly has some home gamer wiring. If that happens to be the fwd/rev motor, just pluck those terminals off and reverse them and the motor will go the opposite way for the same switch activation.

Thank you for getting back with me. I just tried swapping the connectors and no change. Before I bought the car they fixed the rocking problem and was thinking they plugged in backwards. The seat also defaults to going up instead of back when you turn off the car and is annoying. Plus I cant set the memory buttons as it also sets it backwards as well. I would like to get it right and not half ***. The dash panel buttons on both sides don't work well including the trunk release on the dash.

The Smaller motor in the background is an air pump to inflate and deflate the air bladders in the bolsters and lumbar of the seat--that is if they even still work. Most of the time the air lines to the bladders get broken/deteriorate over time. Those are the correct connector for that motor but the motor is supposed to be in a leather bag zipped tied under the seat. So someone has been in there and did not put it back in right. Can the other connectors even be swapped or be plugged in backward???

When they fixed the rocking could they have but the rods back in on the wrong side as there is a right and left and the threads are reversed.
Yes it is entirely possible that they were reassembled incorrectly. Judging by the fact that the bolster pump motor is not in its pouch, I would think it is highly likely steps were not completed properly.
Ok hold on a minute. The wires that you are showing are connected to switches that control the travel of the seat
the wires on the other end of the motor control the direction . swap the black and red wires from one motor to the other

it end up being the seat drive shafts in the seat frame were installed on the wrong sides from when someone replaced the shims for seat rocking. They turn in opposite directions of each other. Reversing them solved the problem. Thanks for your help.
