99 no power
ok vette is dead. I have new battery that has been load tested. I have a good ground. I have power to fuse box under hood and power to alternator. No power to ignition switch no power to fuse box under pass footwell. Nothing works at all except horn. I think i have a fuse box issue under hood. Have power to box i measured the big wires under box and they are all dead.

Some batteries have shallow threaded terminals sometimes and while it seems that they are tight, they are not. See if you can move cables on battery they should not turn. Unhood fuse box is connected to battery, and there is another cable at that point that feeds the passenger footwell fuse box, seems like your car has a bad electrical connection. Hope this helps.

I took off rubber boots at battery and clamped a new jump box to battery cables still no power to foot well fuse box no power to ignition switch. I have full power at alternator red wire.and starter wire.

Remove the cover of the engine compartment fuse relay center, there is a threaded stud there where the battery cable is connected, there is also another cable on that same threaded stud that cable provides power to the passenger footwell fuse relay center, check that connection make sure it's clean and tight. If proficient with multimeter check that you have 12 volts at that location. Hope this helps.

Problem solved owner of vette is a friend and is 87 years old. He left one of the two main cables to the under hood fuse box off when he was trying to repair battery drain issue. Thanks for your help.
