Default Intake compatability question

sorry if this has been beat to death, I promise I searched. I recently purchased a C5 convertible that already had a power plus intake installed. Is there any reason why a vararam intake duct wouldn't be able to connect to it? I'm just being cheap about also buying the duct. Of course if it's also a big difference performance wise I would get the vararam duct as well. thanks in advance for any help

Not sure of the diameter of the BBK intake on the filter side, but worst case you could obtain silicon adapters that would get it done. Once you measure you can pick up exactly what you need. This is one of many sites that will have what you need.
