Sirus xm
I put the antenna inside the drivers side rear fender. I glued a 1 inch square piece of steel to the top of the fender support.
I found it easier to run the antenna to the back of the car instead of trying to get up into the dashboard.
My '03 'vert is a daily driver not a show car so I don't mind drilling a few holes.
To mount the XM Head Unit, I used Pro Clip Angle Dash Mount https://www.proclipusa.com/product/8...p-angled-mount
PDF instructions Here http://docs.proclipusa.com/instructions/852659
For the wiring for the head unit, I purchased a decent radio bezel from the bone yard as I did not want to put a hole in my original bezel to pass the wire from the head unit to the radio and antenna/power supply. Using the bone yard bezel, I mocked up the install so that I could still use the cup holder to hold a "speedway gas station small cup of coffee". I put a hole in the bezel for the wiring and the pic of my install below. Note, my original bezel is secured in a plastic bag on the shelf if I decide to remove the XM and go back to bone stock mode.
Power Supply> as for the clean look, did not want to use that cig lighter power unit so I wired in a EDO Tech Direct Hardwire Vehicle 5V Power Cord Adapter Kit for Sirius XM Radio
For the XM antenna, I ran the wire down under the console then along the drives side in the back of the car. I place the antenna on the driver side trim panel (on the top side by the roof panel securing pin) applied some self adhesive "male side" velcro to the bottom of the antenna and stuck it on the carpet.
Note my XM Head unit came wit it's own mount that had a swivel feature that allows you to move the head unit around a bit to get a better view of the head unit or to access the cup holder.
You have many options on how you want to roll.
Cheers,
Goose
