Hi all About three weeks ago the HUD when out , also at the same time the driver information center, just below the gauges when out. The only fuse that I know of to check, is the I P C which was fine. I also read to disconnect the battery for about 10 sec. That did not work. What else can I try? I do miss it. Thank You Big bat

Without knowing more info about the car and what works on the IPC and what does not can't give you an idea of what may be wrong.

You can check these two fuses (Fuse 19 and Fuse 25)

The fuses where fine. After doing more researching and at a angle, I could see the projector was on, also by looking through the windshield, I could see the mechanism that tips the mirror was moving but the mirror was not, it had fallen.so it could not tip the mirror to project on to the windshield. A pin on the mirror frame is broke, common problem. To fix it the top of the dash has to come off. That means the dash and console has to come apart. Then the HUD can come out to repair the mirror frame. Thank You gentleman for your time Big bat

There's a small polymer gear that rotates the Mirror, yo'll find a lengthy post.

I've been considering to 3D Print a Polycarbonate replacement.

Getting the Mirror located to the correct position is a bit tricky. Be certain the check the alignment and operation prior to final assembly.

Not giving any recommendations of the Videos, but they'll give you some useful input..
