Drivers side window stopped working one day last week. I was messing with it and took a break shut door and went inside. Came back out and it was working again. Yesterday it stopped working again. Passenger window works fine from the drivers side, both door locks work from drivers side, also the mirrors. I hear a click when I push the button up and down. No codes. Is it the regulator or DCM?
Being patient is a good thing on this forum. I can't help you out but sometimes it takes a little time for someone that had the same problem see the thread and respond.

Thank you, I thought I had done something wrong with my post.
The window regulator motor is going out. Eventually you will have to replace it.

Thank you! I have replaced one and it was making a horrible noise. This one just stopped. That’s why I wasn’t sure if it was the module or the regulator.
the most common problem is that the design of the sealed can window motor collects the dust into a mound as the brushes wear, and if it gets big enough, it shorts out the circuit. People then pound on the door to shake the dust down, and this restores function , or replace the played out part, although it will probably still be good for a long time, from the posted reports.
In researching my repair, it was kind of interesting in the various ways people were posting as a miracle cure to restore window power. I am not a guy who quarrels much with results, but everything short of swinging a black cat around by the tail under a full moon was just about suggested.
I found it very illustrative as an example of attempting a repair before understanding the problem. Some suggestions required two people, but they all worked.
