Default TSP Cam question

Texas speed is having a cam kit special till friday $599 shipped. I was looking into BTR Stage 2 cam kit for driveability as well. BTR KIT Stage 2 w/proper supporting mod such as 2800 stall torque converter says not uncommon to get 400 RWHP.Now btr is $780 plus shipping. TSP rep. I spoke to recommended me torquer V2 cam w/yank 3200 stall torque converter( i will reach 400 RWHP). I have LS6 intake and 243 stock Zo6 heads from 2002 w/37k miles already. I will install heads as is. Will get speed engineering long tube headers w/this mods. My questions is anyone have this tsp torquer V2 cam in their car?
How do you like the cam?
This cam good far as driveability?
I'm looking for driveability with mods.
will my automatic trans handle this much hp w/stall?
Any input is appreciated.

Also should i replace lifters? Why? What kind?
What oil pump & timing chain?

Do i need to upgrade other parts such as fuel injectors, etc?

I have a TSP 233/239 cam in my Z06, along with their PRC 225 heads. My driveability is fine in terms of the cam - I have zero "cam buck" or surging, and it's only a couple of degrees more duration with the same lift. The deciding factor in those issues is tuning and I can see a 3200 stall converter being the larger factor in stop light to stop light driveability. I would imagine you will be definitely land a bit north of 400 rwhp with the heads, cam, and intake. They dyno number honestly doesn't mean a damn thing other than being a comparator for modifications along the way as well as ensuring your car is tuned under a calculated load.

There are a thousand varying opinions on the other items you mentioned - the bottom line is don't cheap out and buy chinese lifters, oil pumps, etc. A quality set of lifters will save you MANY headaches in the future. You will probably need to change the springs on your heads at a minimum, or will end up doing it shortly after completion, with the OEM set having 37k miles. That cam can use beehive springs, but I would put a fresh set on for sure. Get a quality timing chain, preferably a single roller JWIS / IWIS chain, which is the manufacturer of the Katech C5R, Rollmaster, and a couple of other brands. A quality oil pump from melling is the go-to in the LS1 motor, with high volume / high pressure being up for debate and preference.

Injector size is another guess - you may be completely fine with your current OEM setup, or may need to step up one level. You will get many varying opinions on this as well - I am very much a "put in the parts with room to grow" mentality, so I would likely go up in injector size if I were you.

The BTR and TSP V2 cams are both great off the shelf grinds, with neither being superior in the end for a street driven car. They are kind of like different paths leading to the same destination.

Texas speed cam package is great price iboth cam kits will come with new dual springs,pushrods, i will put in the new dual springs to 243 heads. TSP cam kit is great priice but stall recommended by tsp is 3200. I was thinking of going with 2800 stall. Long ti.e ago i owned 04 gto a/t i had cam kit mild for driveabikitu w/2800 stall torque converter that net 350 RWHP. that thing screamed and driveability was great. I'm just afraid my transmission will not hold up long with 3200 stall converter and do not want to have to have transmission rebuilt with upgraded parts to handle the hp. I don't have extra 3k to do the trans. later.
thank you for your input i aporeciate it. Yes I'm going toreplace the lifters, oil pu.p,and tim8ng chain with quality brand. I've teadsome posts where some on mentioned thec5 a/t can handle 450 hp but it was just broefly mentioned not confirmed. Also didn't know that was at the crank or Rwhp.

I have the Torquer V2 in my TSP 383 with 60cc chamber PRC 225 As-Cast heads, FAST 92, LS2 silver blade TB, and TSP 1 3/4” LTs. Some mild bucking under 1,500 RPM but not to bad. I can drive it anywhere and I think a lot of it is tune. I am also using the cheap green 42lb injectors from ebay that may attribute to the bucking but still. I am at 484/494 to the tire on a stock 2000 T56 and LUK LS7 clutch.

I personally feel the 228R is the best LS1 cam but that is just my opinion.

I feel the PRC .660 dual springs are hard on lifters when not necessary. Lifters go with Morel or Johnston (link bar if you can swing it,wish I splurged on them now myself). Katech C5R chain and a melling oil pump for sure. Or you can get the ported LS6 that TSP offers. A couple of small washers in with the spring can bump up pressure on it slightly. Also some type of rocker arm upgrade to the trunnion.
