Default Automatic bleeder Hinson

so I'm finally getting around to installing the Hinson bleeder on my 2004 C5. I read forums saying people tried to do it with torque tube in but could not. I wanted to try. I got the original bleeder out and the new adapter in and tight but can not ninja that dam bleeder line on to the adapter its like the nut is to big so it catches the side hole opening. That was last night. I spent maybe 30 minutes trying. I'm going to try another 10 to 20 minutes today since I was so tired last night. Maybe I can ninja it today. But if nit!!! I will drop the torque tube just a bit in the rear to get a little more clearance. So my question is since I might only be dropping the rear end a couple inches to keep the intake from breaking. But do I have to still remove center console and unbolt all the gear sifter stuff? Or just drop rear end couple inches and don't have to worry with gear shifter. Its a 6 speed. Any info would be great thanks.

Default Update

ok i was not able to install the automatic bleeder with torque tube fully assembled. But was fun trying. I can definitely see the challenges with corvettes. But worth ever struggle of it with smiles.
