I have a C5 Z with a 92 fast and i belive LS2 ported tb,,
what is involved in switching this to MAF.
I know i would have to change tb and some hoses and such
I think, I would need a LS 6 stock maf, which i believe is 85mm.
any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated...
Only reason I would like to change back, is drive abilty, was tuned in dense and colder aire
and in the summer now, it can be a pita with stumbling at stops and lights, keep tapping the pedal
to keep from stalling until it picks it up again.
Stock LS6 MAF is only 78mm Ls2 the 2005-2008 have the 85mm . If you want original parts you looking at a hearty tag on that unit 500 or more. Plus re tune .
What’s up with your tune ? I have files that 78 would work but they ain’t free.

What year is your c5 ? Far as I ever knew the stock is a 78mm and it was never a 85 mm until the c6 came out in 05 lol. Maybe they through them in the 01-04 ‘s as well .

Then you don't know, so why are you commenting on something that you don't know anything about
Because I know nothing about your car apparently. And even if your switching to a 92 mm intake it doesn’t require you to add a different maf . Or even a tb
Would you also like a picture with this same intake installed with a vara and a stock maf in it . I have 1 for u right after the dealer was done . I just figured 1 should explain it all .
Maybe I would have handed ya some really great tuning advise as your a long time member. Install tips ect from the top rope he comes down hard over a 78-85mm maf oops my bad bro. Either way it works in the same spot was my implication.
