Window weatherstrip
Bear with me while I describe my simple problem. The outer weatherstrip on my driver door doesn’t fit flush. In looking at it it has a button to press into a fastener in the door channel. However there is no fastener just a spot for it to be. Anyone know where I can find a fastener like this or another solution.? I know it’s a minor thing But like to fix it

I think the male fastener on the weather strip just gets pressed into the hole in the same location on the door and is retained with tension. I didn’t think there was a female fastener/retainer in that location on the door. I could be wrong though, I’m going from memory of when I last had my door panels off.

I believe you are right. Mine has the male piece but where it presses into doesn't hold it. I drilled next to it and used a screw which holds it in perfectly now May not be correct but it works Thanks
