What would be the average expected lifespan of an AC Compressor. Of course I am at 20 years, but have 75,000 miles. I am looking at replacing the condenser and wondering if I should look at a compressor at the same time?
I'm not sure anyone can answer that specifically. I can tell you my 03 Z06 has 292k miles and as far as I know it is original. My truck has 169k miles and I know it is original.
Is your compressor running quiet and smooth? How much is does it cost to have the system "drained" and recharged vs up front cost of a compressor? What is driving you to change the condenser?
I worked on the development and launch of that Delphi V7 compressor back in the 90’s. The C5 was the first application. It is intended to last the life of the vehicle but there are many factors that can impact how long it will last. If you do decide to replace it, suggest you replace the accumulator dehydrator too. Over the years, moisture will permeate through the hoses and get absorbed by the desiccant inside the accumulator.

Condenser started dripping compressor oil on the front bottom left.
