Instrument cluster issues
As you all know when you open the C5 door the interior lights come on including the instrument cluster and the buttons on the doors. During day light hours once you start the engine these lights stay on except for the cabin lights - if it’s dark enough then all these lights come on when the headlights come on. Now in my car’s case everything works as it should except when I open the door the instrument cluster does not light up, also does not light up once started (during daylight time). Once the marker lights or headlights are turned on the instrument cluster lights works as they should.
All fuses are good - so please share some ideas or vendors that can correct this - thanks.

Actually I’ve not heard from everyone on here with this issue - I’ve looked hard at the search areas and not found anything. I suspect some car owners may have this issue and not realize they have a problem.

There sure has been a bunch of people that have read this - but nothing they can share? It make me wonder if they are also looking for an answer to a similar issue. If so please share.
You know the instrument cluster should light up if you use the key fob the unlock the doors also the cabin lights and In my car the cabin lights come on as they should but not the instrument cluster. I’ve read on here the the ignition switch controls a whole bunch of things and can cause a lot of issues if it’s bad. Any thoughts?

Any exterior lights out?
Another thought possibly is lighting timer, when you shut your drivers door do all the lights go out at once?
Mine is Cluster & HVAC both shut off at same time, Radio dims down, Interior lights shut off, & Door switches shut off

All interior lights/timers are working correctly except the instrument cluster lights.
