Default Dashbboard Blemish

I have a 2000 C5 convertible that is extremely clean except for one small blemish that is on the passenger side dash. (see attachment) It appears as though the finish is missing in a couple areas.

I'm wondering if there's some product I can use to touch it up so it looks new again?

Blemishes are just below air vent

Appreciate the help.

The surface of the vinyl dash, is for lack of a better word, paint. Some for whatever reason has been pulled off. You could try vinyl dye which is really paint (don't know why they call it dye) in a spray can. It is formulated to spray on vinyl though I did my driver's driver's kickpanel. Previous owner had "dyed" it yellow. I "dyed" it back to black. You can find it at AutoZone. If you have a junk yard close maybe buy a piece from any other car to experiment on to see if you would like feathering it in. Watch video on automotivetouchup.com about feathering with a spray can. I painted the whole piece so I didn't have to worry about issues like you have.

I see that you have 4 choices.

Live with it.

Paint it and hope that it turns out to your liking that you no longer notice it.

Cover it with an emblem or something. That is probably what removed the paint. Perhaps previous owner had something stuck there.

Buy a new dash. If you try painting it and you don’t like it you could still do this.

Call around and find an interior guy that services used car lots, or one that works on restorations. They can fix that so you'll forget it was ever there!
